What drives the way you work?

It depends on the job. For smaller jobs you will deal directly with the founder. For larger or whole-house projects we bring in a small, hand-picked team — every member trusted, vetted, and held to the same detail standard.

Is the quote really free and no-obligation?

Completely. We come to you, assess the work, give you a clear written price, and leave the decision entirely with you. No follow-up calls, no pressure, no chasing. If we hear back, brilliant. If we do not, we wish you well.

How do you actually price a job?

We price based on time, materials, and complexity — never by guessing what someone might pay. We will walk you through exactly what is included, what is not, and where any variables sit. You will know the number before we lift a brush.

Do you offer fixed prices or day rates?

Wherever possible, fixed prices — so you know exactly where you stand. For genuinely open-ended jobs (some maintenance, some clearing) we offer transparent day rates with a clear scope upfront.

What if the job turns out to need more work than expected?

We tell you the moment we spot it, on the live stream and in writing, and you decide whether to add it. We never carry on quietly racking up cost. Transparency is the whole brand.

Do you take a deposit?

For most jobs, no. For larger projects requiring materials to be ordered upfront we may ask for a small deposit to cover materials only — agreed and itemised in writing first.

Are there discounts for combining services?

Yes. Bundling — like jet washing with exterior painting, or gardening with general maintenance — is genuinely more efficient for us, and we pass that saving on. Ask about our property care packages.

What payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer, cash, and most major cards. Payment terms are agreed upfront in writing — usually on completion, with no surprises.

What is the live-streaming, exactly?

We stream every job live so you can watch from your phone, tablet, or laptop — wherever you are in the world. You see exactly what we are doing, in real time, with no editing and no hidden corners. It is our version of a quality guarantee.

Not at all. The stream is there if you want it — many customers dip in once or twice during the day. Others never look. Either way, the recording is available afterwards if you ever want to review.

What is the visualisation service?

Before we start, we can produce a visual showing what your finished project will look like — the colour, the finish, the layout. It means you commit to the result with confidence, not a guess. Andrea’s atmospheric Anstruther evening garden is a perfect example: visualised, then brought to life exactly as planned.

Who can see the live stream?

Only people you share the link with. The stream is not public unless you want it to be.

What services do you offer?

Garage clearing, jet washing, exterior painting, interior painting, gardening (tree cutting, hedge trimming, lawn care, weed control), permaculture design, tarmac restoration, and general maintenance / handyman work. If it is property care, the answer is usually yes.

Can you do a whole-house refurbishment?

Yes — we recently completed Leanne’s entire home in Guardbridge: every single room repainted, the staircase fully redone, and all woodwork refreshed. Whole-house jobs are some of our favourite work because the cumulative impact is enormous.

Do you handle large outdoor transformations?

Yes. Dawn in Craigrothie is a great example — a four-day, fully live-streamed transformation that combined jet washing, masonry painting, fence painting and outdoor lighting. We handle the project end-to-end so you only deal with one team.

Can you build planters, raised beds, or custom garden features?

Absolutely. Jackie in St Andrews had two beautifully crafted wooden raised planters with diagonal lattice trellis built — designed, visualised, and installed in days. Bespoke garden joinery is well within scope.

Do you do small maintenance jobs, or only big projects?

Both. Margaret & Jim in Cupar trust us with their cottage on a regular basis for small maintenance — a hinge here, a bit of touch-up paint there, ongoing seasonal care. There is no minimum job size.

Can you do jet washing alongside other work?

Yes — and we usually recommend it. Lizi in Leuchars had her herringbone block paving jet washed mid-job during a wider project, and the combination always saves time. Jet washing pairs especially well with exterior painting and tarmac restoration.

Do you offer permaculture and sustainable garden design?

Yes. Permaculture is a personal passion — designing thriving, low-input food forests and productive gardens that work with the land rather than against it. We design, install, and can maintain them ongoing.

What if my project doesn’t fit any of your listed services?

Ask. With years of mixed commercial and private renovation experience behind us, we have probably handled something close to it before. If we are not the right people, we will tell you honestly.

How quickly can you start?

For most jobs, within a week — often sooner. Whole-house and larger outdoor projects typically book a few weeks ahead. Get in touch and we will give you a realistic date straight away.

Do I need to be home while you work?

No. Many customers leave us a key or arrange access and watch the live stream from work. We treat every property exactly as we would our own.

How much disruption should I expect?

Minimal. We turn up on time, set up cleanly, lay dust sheets, protect surfaces, and tidy as we go. At the end of every day the site is left walkable and presentable — even if we are coming back the next morning.

Will you clean up afterwards?

Always. The job is not done until the site is left tidier than we found it. No paint cans in the corner, no rubble in the driveway. We finish properly.

What happens if the weather is bad?

For outdoor work we will reschedule rather than push through unsafe conditions or compromise the finish. We will let you know as early as possible and rebook the next available slot.

Do you bring your own equipment and materials?

Yes — everything. Tools, paint, jet washers, ladders, dust sheets, the lot. You provide nothing unless you specifically want a particular product or paint colour included.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes. If anything is not right, we come back and fix it — no debate, no fuss. Our reputation is built on word of mouth in East Fife, and we will not damage it over a touch-up.

Can you come back for ongoing maintenance?

Absolutely — and many customers do. We have ongoing relationships with several East Fife homeowners (Margaret & Jim in Cupar being one of our favourites) where we drop by regularly to keep things in top condition.
